Dr Kostas Stathis
Reader in Artificial Intelligence

I am coordinating the Distributed and Intelligent Computing Environments Lab. My research focuses on Computational Intelligence and in the intersection of Computational Logic and Cognitive Systems for Social Computing Applications. My work has been supported by the IST FP6 and FP5 Programmes, the London Development Agency, Vodafone Foundation, Nuffield Foundation, and the Italian Ministry of Education.

I am a member of the ACM, IEEE and an Associate Practitioner of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.

I am currently co-chairing SEISMYC'10 and the sessions, workshops and panels committee of ICTD2010. I am also on the PC of HCI2010, CLIMA10, IE10, EVENTS10, ISAmI10, AAMAS10.
